What you will do
Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will collaboration with cross-functional partners for Uplizna and aligned with product strategy, the Scientific Communications Manager is accountable for a broad scope of responsibilities, including :
Medical review of promotional materials as a member of the Material Approval and Compliance CommitteeContribute to development of Uplizna Global Medical Content (GMC) deliverables based on Scientific Communication Plan & timeline; Collaborate with subject matter experts, Sci Comm Sr Managers/Directors, Global Medical Affairs Lead and vendors on content developmentCore scientific and medical content (e.g., disease state education/digital/medical science liaison materials/FAQs/Medical Information Letters)Content for scientific meetingsPayer-related contentPartner with MedInfo to respond to inquiries and conduct literature surveillanceMaintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners on the extended teamWinWhat we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degreeOrMasters degree and 2 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experienceOrBachelors degree and 4 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experienceOrAssociates degree and 8 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experienceOrHigh school diploma / GED and 10 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience.Preferred Qualifications:PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO with 1 or more years of relevant experience in clinical research, patient care, Medical/Scientific Affairs, and/or basic researchPrior experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development within the biopharmaceutical industry, and/or clinical or research experienceUnderstanding of current publication environment, good publication practices, and other global guidelines related to publications, scientific data communication, and transparency standardsUnderstanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of the regulatory and legal guidelines affecting promotion of prescription productsDemonstrated track record of strategic execution in a matrix environment with limited supervisionExperience leading vendorsExcellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, and project planning skillsAbility to lead and/or facilitate effective team meetingsStrong computer and database skills, particularly with Microsoft Office productsThriveWhat you can expect of us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates professional and personal growth and well-being. This role is paid hourly. The expected annualized salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $112,714.00 to $137, Actual salary will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
