The Cat Doctor in Portland, Maine is looking for an associate veterinarian to join or someone that is interested in taking the next step in your career, there may be an opportunity to lead our team. We have been on the forefront of feline care for decades being the first feline only practice in Maine. Our practice has a dedicated, experienced support staff. The team enjoys working in our inviting facility which offers dental digital radiology, digital radiology, and advanced soft tissue surgery. There are many long time clients who keep coming back because of our welcoming environment, extensive knowledge, and high quality care. We are proud to support the Homeless Animal Rescue Team of Maine, as well as the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland.

This position is a great fit for either a new grad or experienced vet. There are no weekend shifts, and no on-call hours.

Portland is a "little" city but offers world-class dining, a scenic rocky coast, and a stunning art museum. There are plenty of spots for watersports, hiking, and more on the Fore, Saco, Piscataqua, and Kennebec Rivers nearby. There are also miles of coastal white sand beaches to enjoy.
