About the Role

We are a "startup within a startup," a small, cross-functional team working on one of Opendoor's next plays. We believe that "what got us here won't get us there," and we need to constantly innovate to fully realize our mission of empowering everyone with the freedom to move. We're looking to grow our customer experience team on Opendoor Exclusives. You'll work closely with our customers as they engage with the product, and also with our Product team to make sure we're meeting our customers' needs.

What You'll Do

  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining precision and organization in all interactions, while proactively seeking opportunities to contribute beyond your designated role and fostering a collaborative environment within the team.
  • Utilize high emotional intelligence to connect with customers, understanding their needs deeply and recommending the best solutions.
  • Engage with customers and internal teams across multiple platforms, including phone, chat, email, and Slack, in the context of individual customer transactions and broader product discussions.
  • Guide customers through inquiries regarding offers, contracts, processes, and home buying with professionalism and warmth, all while maintaining flexibility in your thought process and being willing to step outside your comfort zone.
  • Demonstrate expertise in our products and services, educating customers on various nuances and options available in the Opendoor marketplace, while actively participating in brainstorming sessions and providing valuable insights to enhance the product.

  • You are a seasoned navigator of a dynamic startup and/or tech company, where ambiguity is the norm and adaptability is key.
  • You've seamlessly collaborated across cross-functional teams, particularly with product and engineering, to unveil insights and conquer obstacles.
  • You've been at the forefront of crafting pioneering innovations that break new ground.

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The U.S. pay range for this position in most locations is $ $38.46 hourly. In the SF Bay Area of California, Seattle, and New York City Metro area the base hourly range is $ $42.79. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 12 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
