Job Title: Coordinator, Materials Planning

Primary Purpose: The ideal candidate would follow the bulk materials lifecycle from reservation to disposition. Focus on materials planning, reservations to allocations, ML (Material Liability), and production reporting analysis.

Hybrid role, based in 10 Hudson Yards, NY in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Materials Planning to...

  • Maintain and prepare materials planning tool (PBL template).
  • Support materials reservation, allocation, RMPOs, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with the Asia production team the season production planning strategy.
  • Communicate with Product Development on BOMs issues.
  • Responsible for material liability reports, and shipments to jobber.
  • Oversee credit notes – follow-ups and receiving.
  • Manage special projects & chases.
  • Assist with PBM (pre-book materials) analysis and reservations.
  • Analyze and provide feedback for PRN (product change request) inquiries.
  • Review and provide DCR comments (demand change request).
  • Monitor and analyze MOQ (minimum order qty) requests for consolidations and potential ML.
  • Provide support to the manager and team to overlook key milestones.

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 1 or more years of experience with a thorough understanding of Production Planning and supply chain; preferable in handbag, footwear or consumer product industries.
  • Intermediate or advance skill level of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
