  • Verifies access authorization of personnel in classified areas

  • Maintains chronological log of activities and incidents
  • Performs physical checks of classified areas and security containers

  • Provides after-hours protection of classified material
  • Conducts security inspections of personnel
  • Handles telephone calls within facility
  • Performs other physical security related duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years professional armed security experience
  • Ability to handle situations involving stress, analyze diverse situations
  • Knowledge of specified weapons and possession of weapon/holster
  • Top Secret security clearance and valid driver's license

Work Environment:

Includes physical demands like walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds

Requires ability to respond to physical threats

Shift work including weekends and patrolling exterior property
