About This Opportunity:


CareATC is currently looking for a Physician that will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide exceptional patient care.

The CareATC approach is to work with our patient population to assist in chronic disease management through individual interventions, clinic support and ongoing education.

We are looking to add a full time, forty hour per week Physician to our clinic in Louisville, KY. The clinic is open Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm and supports the employees and families of PPL. Your patients are also supported by a Health Center Manager, Clinical Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and a Mental Health Professional. The ideal candidate will be board certified and have experience working in primary care or a related field.

The physician must be willing to be licensed and collaborate for Nurse Practitioners in several states including KY, IN, RI, and PA.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments, and health regimens to treat patient health Issues
  • Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.
  • DEA required for prescribing and dispensing
  • Ability to pass onsite credentialing
  • Board Certified in primary care or another related field. (if board eligible, must be willing to obtain board certification)
  • Must complete and pass a residency program in the United States
  • Comply with all medical laws and HIPAA standards
  • Current license in the state or states where physician will practice.
  • Strong desire to promote health, disease management and prevention.
