Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the installation, operation, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of biological safety cabinets and incubators.
- Responsibilities:Install, maintain, operate, clean and repair biological safety cabinets and incubators in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Perform routine inspections and testing to ensure proper operation and functionality of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and provide timely and effective repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities and provide regular reports to management.
- Collaborate with research staff to ensure that equipment is being used safely and effectively.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices for biological safety cabinets and incubators.
- Provide training and support to research staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science 6-10 years of experience working in a laboratory setting, with a focus on biological safety cabinets and incubators.
- Strong knowledge of biological safety cabinet and incubator design, installation, and maintenance.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repair of laboratory equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with research staff.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for biological safety cabinets and incubators.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of physical environments.
