Your Role Reporting to the Customs Brokerage Manager you will oversee the daily operations of the Imports Department. You will develop, document, and maintain the Imports Department procedures. Your Responsibilities
  • You will oversee the scheduling of team to ensure
    efficient resources and perform audit review on all assigned brokerage
    files and payments to customs.
  • Maintain and keep current all customs compliance
    documentation and process documents through our ABI system, obtaining
    Customs release and other government agency releases.
  • You will follow up with customers to resolve inquiries
    and arrange both delivery and the invoicing of the import account for
    services rendered.
  • Review and monitor all Customs rejections, requests for
    information for clients and any other government agency, and other
    correspondence.
  • You will follow all domestic and international shipping
    regulations and mandatory daily correspondence with overseas offices.
  • Work with other departments to deliver high level of
    service to customers.
  • Employee may also have additional responsibilities
    supporting a specific department(s)/division(s) and be tasked with
    specific, individualized assignments.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • 3+ years of Supervisory experience
  • 5+ years of Customs Brokerage Experience.
  • Basic knowledge of INCO terms, the Harmonized Tariff
    Schedule, Customs regulations and other government agency requirements.
  • You have the ability to work onsite 5 days per week.
