About the Role

As a Field Solution Architect II, you will leverage your experience in hardware and software solutions, focusing on servers and data centers. You will recommend solutions with moderate customer input, support pre-sales technical questions, and investigate customer technical escalations. You will collaborate on enablement technology solutions and understand installation requirements. Your role includes driving demonstration creation, delivering training to partners, and presenting to larger groups to support business initiatives. Additionally, you will recognize customer business needs, translate them into technology solutions, educate customers on current technology, and build relationships with vendors and customers.

What You'll Do
  • Support partner pre-sales technical solution questions around sizing, product feature functionality, capability, deployment requirements, product channel distribution guidelines, and certification.
  • Assist in identifying the most optimal solutions to meet customer requirements within the overall approach and strategy of the developed solution proposal response. Prepare questions to better understand customer requirements contained within the supplied RFI / RFP and other customer documents.
  • Deliver custom and technical training presentations for resellers and their end customers across multiple technologies.
  • Collaborate with peers in creating and developing solutions in solution centers or demo platforms for internal and partner use.
  • Host and/or participate in Executive Briefings, Technical Conferences, Trade Shows, Seminars, On-site and Virtual Trainings, and Marketing Events for reseller and vendor partners as well as sales teams.
  • Participate in vendor training to support certifications in the focus technical area and create technical roadmaps for partner skill enhancement.
What We're Looking For
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Advanced Technical Certifications with multiple vendors and industry recognition.
  • Ability to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Proficiency in using common office equipment and basic data entry skills.
  • Competency in performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Keen attention to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Clear communication skills to convey necessary information effectively.
  • Ability to create and conduct formal presentations.
  • Effective interaction with higher levels of management (managers & above).
  • Strong negotiation skills to promote and sell ideas persuasively.
  • Ability to understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.
  • Strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Flexibility to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
  • Ability to work constructively under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Strong collaboration skills to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Quick learning/adaptation to new systems and technology.
  • Proficiency in using relevant computer systems and applications at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Working Conditions

  • Classroom environment.
  • May be located at a reseller/customer location.
  • Frequent travel required (25%).
  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
  • Professional office environment.
  • Remote/work-from-home flexibility.
