A manufacturing group in the Schaumburg, IL area is seeking a Sr. Staff Accountant to join their team.

Job Description

Seeking a motivated accounting professional to assist with the monthly financial close, reporting and analysis. This position will be responsible for month end journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, tax filings, and divisional quarterly reporting. Ad hoc projects will be requested as needed, which could provide great exposure to corporate management

Job Duties:


• Process monthly journal entries


• General ledger account reconciliations and bank reconciliations


• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Divisional financial reports


• Inter/Intra-Company reconciliations with Global Business Units


• Foreign exchange exposure analysis


• Sales & Use Tax reporting


• Monthly review of trial balances


• Prepare and post month-end Journal Entries.


• Run Revenue Recognition.


• Prepare Rebate calculations


• Review Balance sheet re-measurements


• Provide analytical support for the Accounting Manager.


• Maintain Month End Reporting Review documents.


• Support External and Internal audits.

Qualifications


• 1-5 years of relevant accounting experience


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
