Description
Responsible for leading several customer payment programs including Big Lots' private label credit card, lease to own, and BNPL programs. Primary functions include program marketing and operations, championing customer experiences, and driving company sales through making purchases more affordable for our customers.
1. Develops program strategies to drive growth and improved customer experience across all programs.
2. Manages program initiatives and coordinates cross-functional support to drive successful outcomes.
3. Primary contact for external program partnerships. Sets agendas and manages delivery of key program needs while prioritizing the most critical business projects.
4. Helps develop annual program goals and budgets and partners with internal and external resources to ensure alignment and support.
5. Connects programs to brand marketing campaigns and promotional activity to drive value through payment options.
6. Partners with program analysts and team members to measure program and campaign performance and recommend new program testing and proper allocation of budgets and resources.
7. Prioritizes opportunities and orients resources towards largest impact initiatives.
8. Benchmarks competitive programs and stays current on innovations in the payment industry. Ensures company programs are competitive and customer needs are met.
9. Manages and delivers program marketing through all channels including website, store presence, and digital marketing assets.
10. Works closely with partners to ensure marketing and program compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
11. Works with accounting, customer service, and program partners to resolve customer issues and ensure long-lasting relationships and retention.
12. Partners with store operations and field team to set store goals and performance reporting while leveraging front-line feedback to improve customer experience.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree required.
2. Experience in payments marketing and/or program management preferred.
3. Data-driven decision making, critical thinking, and creative problem solving are critical to success.
4. Proven experience in building effective cross-functional and external partner relationships.
5. Ability to articulate objectives and strategies and prioritize actions required.
6. Must be an action-oriented and organized individual with experience managing multiple projects at once.
7. Experience in a fast-paced environment needed, multi-channel retail experience preferred.
8. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office programs. MicroStrategy and CDP experience a plus.
