Summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst for our Euclid, OH headquarters. The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst isResponsible for preparation and review / supervision of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement reports that meet the reporting requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") and senior management, as well as provide valuable information to shareholders of the Company. The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will interact with various internal and external customers on a routine basis to provide accurate reporting of financial results. This person will assist in various strategic or business issues that arise on an ad hoc basis as directed by the Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Controller, Director of Financial Reporting and/or Financial Reporting Managers.

What You Will Do:

  • Review and supervise the consolidation and preparation of actual, forecast and budgeted financial statements, as well as analyze results;
  • Preparation and review / supervision of documentation necessary to complete SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 11-K, proxy);
  • Perform research of technical accounting topics and present research findings to Manager / Director of Financial Reporting, as well as various levels of management;
  • Work with internal and external auditors to facilitate annual audits / quarterly reviews;
  • Assist in the preparation and review / supervision of the monthly accounting for the Company's annual benefit plan financial statements;
  • Review the accounting for various domestic and international holding companies utilizing SAP and HFM applications;
  • Preparation and review / supervision of various monthly close deliverables;
  • Interact with senior level management and collaborate with subsidiary units across the globe and corporate personnel.

Required Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting;
  • CPA license with 3 - 5 years public accounting experience;
  • Must possess a strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP principals, SEC reporting and consolidation accounting;
  • Must be highly motivated and possess excellent analytical and communication skills;
  • Must possess a high degree of flexibility and demonstrate the ability to perform numerous tasks and assignments concurrently;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, etc.) essential, SAP and HFM knowledge a plus.
