The Level Access DevOps team is responsible for automating, optimizing, and monitoring cloud infrastructure resources to support our engineering teams and provide the best possible experience to our customers. Job Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our DevOps and Engineering teams to design, implement, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and manage our AWS cloud infrastructure. We seek a candidate who can effectively maintain our existing systems while also contributing fresh, strategic ideas to enhance our team's capabilities and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, improve, maintain and implement a multi-cloud infrastructure that delivers our innovative technology platform.
  • Instrument and maintain robust monitoring capabilities across all environments.
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, including cost modeling and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain Kubernetes clusters for application deployment and management.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
  • Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines following the best DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices for infrastructure, application architecture, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with team members from Product, InfoSec, Finance, and Engineering to ensure compliance with security requirements and frameworks such as: ISO27001, FedRAMP, and SOC2.
  • Build and support documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles, with previous experience in CI/CD implementation.
  • Proven knowledge of Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools (e.g., Travis-CI, Bitbucket pipelines, AWS CodeSuite, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Git or other version control systems.
  • Experience with Bash scripting.
  • Experience with Python scripting and AWS Lambda deployments.
  • Knowledge of Amazon State Language and Step Functions.
  • Strong experience using Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) tools (experience with CloudFormation and Terraform preferred).
  • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog and CloudWatch.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with designing and implementing solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Experience with multi-cloud architecture and management.
