Physical Requirements


The physical requirements for this position include regularly standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 lbs., and regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions, such as typing.

Shift

As needed position, covering shifts for vacation, sick-time, and vacancies. Shifts are 8:00am-6:30 pm (10 hours) with no set amount per week.

Job Summary


The Dietetics Technician performs as a member of the interdisciplinary team, assisting the Registered Dietitian in safe and timely placement of Cortrak feeding tubes while ensuring customer satisfaction and positive public relations through the safe and efficient use of resources.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities


The ideal candidate will be a Dietetic Technician Registered or have completed a degree in Dietetics; will have in-depth diet and nutritional interactions knowledge and the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects while accurately completing routine functions in a fast-paced, high intensity, professional work environment; will enjoy working independently as well as closely with co-workers in a supportive team environment; will possess strong computer (including Microsoft Office), customer service, and active listening skills; and will demonstrate dependability and excellent attention to detail.
