Seasonal Junior Recruiter

Job Summary:

For this entry-level position, we're seeking competitive, career-driven individuals to join our fast-paced team on-site in Denver, CO. Our Junior Recruiter will play a pivotal role within Pinemelon by providing sourcing, screening, and administrative support for our HR department.

The Seasonal Junior Recruiter is a proactive, dynamic, adaptable, and organized person who helps identify a mix of candidates to recruit and hire exceptional talent.

Availability:

Term is through the end of August 2024. Flexible scheduling to adapt to candidate needs is a must.

Location:

5915 Broadway, Denver, CO, this is NOT a remote-only opportunity

Duties/Responsibilities:

Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to fulfill them.
Source candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for open positions.
Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Assist in the creation and posting of job descriptions on relevant platforms, ensuring accurate company branding.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Coordinate and participate in recruitment events such as job fairs and campus recruiting activities.
Provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress and candidate pipelines.
Responsible for recruitment reporting such as time to fill, offer acceptance rate, sourcing channel effectiveness, etc.
Partner with other departments such as operations, marketing, IT, etc to drive in-house recruitment initiatives in a way that ensures consistent employer branding
Assist in other HR-related tasks and projects as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent organizational abilities and adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated capability to operate effectively both individually and within a collaborative team setting
Proactive and self-starting attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor
Proficiency in different interviewing techniques
Proven interpersonal abilities of being approachable to stakeholders from diverse backgrounds

Preferred Education and Experience:
Pursuing associate's degree or certification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred but not required.
1 year of previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite applications and experience with ATS is a plus.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Reliable transportation a must for recruitment events
