Summary

You will serve as a Interior Designer in the Architectural Branch, Engineering and Design Division, Capital Improvements Business Line of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC.



Duties
  • You will review customer requirements to verify information pertaining to the performance period, contractor's delivery dates, and product expected are clear and satisfactory.
  • You will interact with customers to explain why an idea surpasses the limitations of design or budget and develops alternative solutions to meet their needs.
  • You will use AutoCAD to create designs and furnishing plans.
  • You will monitor construction projects to verify the architectural and interior design aspects of the project are constructed according to contract plans and specifications.
  • You will analyze space and furniture arrangements for compliance with universal design concepts and building codes.
