Animal Care Tech III

Greenfield, IN

Duties include but not limited to

  • Ensure animals are cared for and handled in accordance with regulatory guidelines and with the highest scientific, humane, and ethical principles.
  • Perform animal husbandry duties as needed.
  • Advanced knowledge of animal behavior, restraint techniques and or reproductive concepts.
  • Report all animal care concerns and become involved in resolution and appropriate corrective action, when necessary.
  • Understand regulatory requirements (including those concerning USDA and AAALAC).

Education/Skills/Experience

  • HIghly prefer candidates with 5+ years of experience in animal research including animal restraint, blood collection, study support
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
