Duties

As a Supervisory Inspector for the Office of Inspections, Intelligence Oversight, and Special Projects (OIIS), you will be responsible for the following:

Ensure inspection staff perform assigned duties in accordance with professional and Office of Inspections, Intelligence Oversight, and Special Projects (OIIS) standards and procedures.Lead day-to day oversight of multiple teams conducting performance, allegation-based, and other inspections.

Ensure team(s) develop findings and recommend changes in programs, operations, and/or resource utilization to resolve problems, provide balanced program operations, and achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

Plan work to be accomplished by others, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.

Distribute and balance workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure mission accomplishment.

    Qualifications

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or equivalent pay band in the Federal service.

    Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Provide day-to-day oversight of multiple teams conducting performance and allegation-based inspections. Specific work experience must demonstrate the following:1. Lead inspection(s) and special project(s) to analyze the objectives, policies, procedures, progress, and resource applications and utilization.2. Identify management and operational problems, issues, and/or inconsistencies and their root cause in a timely manner to recommend corrective actions to management.3. Set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work to plan work accomplished by others.

    Time-in-Grade: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration.
