Azure Cloud Engineer
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you play a crucial role in building, managing, and optimizing our Azure cloud infrastructure. Working closely with the Azure Lead and cross-functional teams, you ensure a safe, scalable, and efficient cloud environment. The perfect candidate will have a solid background in Azure infrastructure, cloud security, infrastructure as code (IaC), and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

The company is situated in Reston, VA, and requires on-site presence five days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud solutions.
- Ensure Azure resources' security, availability, and performance.
- Create and oversee infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Collaborate with team members to deploy solutions on-premises and in the cloud.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Address system issues escalated from Help Desk or encountered during design and development.
- Stay informed about Azure technologies and industry trends to enhance practices continuously.
- Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, including requirements, designs, and test plans.
- Experience with M365, Intune, and IAM support is a plus.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Services Models (Serverless, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Proficiency in cloud security best practices, compliance (e.g., Azure Security Center, Azure Policy), and Azure Cost Optimization.
- Holding Azure certifications (Azure Administrator minimum).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration capabilities.
