The role of Supervisor, Creative Studio is an integral position across the GEICO organization, helping usher the Internal Creative Studio team into a modern, best-in-class team, built to grow and scale with the evolving business priorities. This person will serve as the creative connective tissue across GEICO's Creative Internal Studio Operations. This person is responsible for guiding, informing, and maintaining the Creative integrity of the Brand, primarily across all GEICO internal Creative Studio executions (non-Broadcast). This candidate must have exceptional knowledge of Digital and Social platforms and be able to take the beloved GEICO Brand personality to build high-engagement and high-performing content, native to the platform.

You will collaborate with internal and external partners as the Creative lead across Art/Design and Copy to ensure creative fluency across all channels. As the Creative Lead, you will manage a team of copywriters and designers in their growth and development. You will also be a Creative Lead partner and resource for the Social Content SWAT Team. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Creative Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in a related role; Advertising or Media Agency experience a plus
  • 2+ years as a manager
  • Art / Design / background with an emphasis on Motion Graphics and animation
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Creative Suite
  • Knowledgeable to identify software solutions for more efficient work output (i.e., design iteration and template tools)
  • Ability to translate strategic messaging into visual designs
  • Deep understanding of Social and Digital best practices across lead channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, including Display) to create high-performing assets
  • Strong communication skills in articulating creative decisions
  • Ability to apply data-driven learnings to creative iterative Paid content
  • Solutions oriented and has a 'let's solve this together' approach

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Protector of the brand guidelines, ensuring all executions are cohesive across the internal Creative Studio Operations
  • Operate as the final approver before creative work /assets are shared with Sr. Manager for approval
  • Partners with Strategy and Analytics for brief and task alignment
  • Leads the creative Art/Design and Copy teams in the development of the creative assets / deliverables
  • Concepts campaign initiatives for Internal client requests.
  • Establishes growth + development plan for all Art, Design, and Copy staff
  • Collaborates with Internal Clients and External partners to build cohesion across the Internal Studio Creative work
  • Responsible for connecting with the GEICO internal Brand/Production Team to keep abreast of all Creative output from the external Brand Advertising Agency
  • Supports shot-list development for potential Agency shoots, to ensure the right content in captured to create Paid Performance and (some) Organic assets.
  • Is the voice of the creative work to internal clients and external vendors
  • Reviews and guides the SWAT team creative execution, as needed
  • Identifies training opportunities to keep the Creative Team on the cutting edge of progress and performance
  • Research, identify and recommend new design and efficiency solutions.
  • Onboards staff.
