Junior Graphic Designer

The Marketing Creative Services (CS) team is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our in-house agency as a Graphic Designer l. In this position you would be responsible for the design and production of Executive Leadership presentations and design/production work for both traditional and digital platforms.

Position reports to the CS Supervisor and operates under the general direction of the Senior Design Lead and Project Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and prepares creative assets for various digital platforms (Display, Programmatic, Social) including development, re-sizing, and file export
• Manages brand templating software including authoring new templates, editing, and archiving assets, creating design templates, and ensuring client access
• Designs and prepares electronic files for print, using prepress industry standards for file setup
• Aligns design with input and creates templates using best practices in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Suite, and other presentation software for executive and leadership presentations; gathers and implements feedback; incorporates edits
• Modifies and manipulates illustrations and photography for creative assets and presentations
• Using data, produces editable graphs and other visuals for presentations
• Designs and produces digital graphics for inclusion in video productions

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have strong creative skills, backed by a portfolio of work demonstrating a passion for design and typography. The ideal candidate will have experience working in numerous types of design, be driven by new perspectives, and be able to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.

• Two years of relevant design experience in an agency or marketing environment
• Bachelor's degree in design or related field
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
• Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Must be highly organized, and able to multitask
• Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
• Must stay current on new techniques by doing industry reading and attending seminars
• Must demonstrate a willingness to take and apply feedback to improve

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience creating 2D motion graphics
• Experience designing for Performance platforms
• Background creating illustrations for B2C content
• Experience designing for Homepage takeovers
