Description:

BAPTIST HEALTH SOUTH FLORIDA INC. in , Miami FL seeks a Cloud Data Engineer Senior to partner with technical and non-technical colleagues to understand data, machine learning and reporting requirements. Collect and process raw data at scale to support such requirements. Build data pipelines in a production environment as well as EL T/ETL, Data lakes & warehouses. Data processing using traditional and distributed systems (e.g., MPP warehouses, AWS data lake solutions, Hadoop, Spark, Dataflow, Airflow). Data exploration/visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. Design and implement the data security required to protect and access the data. Proficient in Python and/or Java, experience with AWS cloud development (S3, Glue, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, etc.). Work closely with analysts to productionize various statistical and machine learning models using AWS services such as Sagemaker. Ability to learn and research new technologies rapidly. Participate in architecture and code reviews. Monitor performance and modify solutions as needed. Coordinate and resolve escalated production support incidents in Tier 2 support rotation. Continuous improvement of engineering tools and processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

5 years of experience in same or related occupation. The 5 years of experience must include the
following:

5 years of experience in data engineering & end to end automation of data pipelines.5 years of experience with modern data platforms.2 years of experience of relational and NoSQL databases and data structures.3 years of experience in data science and business intelligence workflows.2 years of experience in Python & Java.5 years of experience with large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects, including using AWS technologies.5 years of experience with machine learning toolkits and production support and troubleshooting.

AWS Certification and Terraform
