About the role:

As an Logistics Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting and working with an established Customer Sales Representative to service our customers transportation needs and drive revenue.

What you'll be doing:

Communicate with the Customer Sales Rep to help sustain, build, and grow their Book of Business

Help manage and grow an established Book of Business's daily shipment activities by helping with quoting, negotiating, building, selling, and resolving issues to ensure on-time pickup and delivery of each shipment

Help with any internal matters relative to Book of Business's daily activities such as potential claims, service failures and accounting responsibilities as needed

What you need:

College degree preferred, but not necessary

1 year of experience, but not preferred

The determination to work harder than anyone you know

Excellent communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills, while being forthright about conflict

Ability to work with the latest technologies

An obsession for great customer service

Where you'll be: Chicago, IL (River North)

Pay: $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday

Rotating weekends
