Job Description:

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for performing financial and operational analysis on labor and scheduling. Make recommendations on findings within retail labor budgeting, scheduling, and workforce management.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Participate in business decisions through sales forecasting and trend analysis, value-added assessments, and risk/opportunity analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial analysis and reporting including but not limited to monthly variance analysis and explanation, profitability, and sales analysis.
  • Evaluate labor standards to assist with workforce management decision making.
  • Consult and educate associates and management on financial analysis and reports to assist with solving forecasting and scheduling issues.
  • Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives; provide ad hoc sales and financials analysis as requested.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Prepare weekly/quarterly budget forecasts on sales and labor.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree (required) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Two years of accounting/and or financial analysis experience
  • Excellent financial/spreadsheet skills.
  • Strong analytical and effective decision-making skills, budgeting and planning skills, attention to detail, strong initiative, and ability to prioritize multiple priorities.
  • Update labor standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Workforce Management tools
  • Systems knowledge or the ability to adapt quickly to different systems is important.
