Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Inventory Analyst to join our team at SpartanNash. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for monitoring retail store department inventory levels, ensuring accurate orders are received, and identifying potential issues to resolve compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor retail store SKU department inventory levels and ensure orders are received accurately in the Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) system.
  • Complete store CAO compliance audits and identify potential issues to resolve with store management.
  • Partner with store management to ensure store personnel are properly trained on CAO system and develop and analyze order adjustment reports to ensure accurate inventory.
  • Review auto closed invoices for stores using CAO to ensure product received inventory has been accurately updated and complete linking verification on the New and Discounted conversion item list.
  • Review store invoices for substitution items and verify stores are not receiving excessive inventory and monitor incoming presells and follow up on the stores order status within company website.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best retail inventory practices and make recommendations to improve current programs and processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
  • Two years of retail store operations experience with inventory, ordering, scanning, and receiving preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented with good analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to develop relationships, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of ct2020, OMS, and HQ software systems helpful.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% including overnight stays.

May be required to lift and/or move 20 pounds. The associate is frequently required to sit/stand/walk. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a typical office environment and is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions.

Temperatures may vary for those subject to any of the following areas: computer/server room, print shop, production area. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate but may be high in distribution settings. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
