We are looking to grow our welcoming customer service team Join our team at Children's Museum of Atlanta as a Customer Service Front of House superstar and play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences This position reports to the Manager of Guest Experience and is a part time, non-exempt, hourly position.

The schedule is varied with weekdays, at least 1 weekend day, events and holidays are required with an hourly rate of $15.

50 per hour and will increase to $16.
50 after completing the probation period at the Museum.

We are the Children's Museum of Atlanta, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), and the only educational venue of its kind in Atlanta.

Through community outreach initiatives, educational programs, and exhibits designed for children ages 0-8, the Museum strives to spark every child's imagination, sense of discovery and learning through the power of play.

Primary Role:
To deliver superior customer service and provide a clean, safe, fun, and educational environment by actively engaging with all Museum guests in the Welcome Center, Store, and Security areas Responsibilities and Duties:
Greet and engage with all guests in a cheerful manner Communicate Museum information fully and accurately Maintain familiarity with store inventory and age relevance in order to provide recommendations Conduct accurate sales transactions using POS software Ensure data integrity:
accurate entry and format in all CMA tools Sell Museum memberships and help reach monthly goals Provide farewell services and concierge type services to guests Troubleshoot issues:
technical and customer service related Maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests Make sure guests have proper tickets, badge, or staff escort before passing the security check point Always maintain a high level of awareness Open and Close Welcome Center, Store, and building daily Make announcements as scheduled Work on the exhibit floor to tidy up, clean and sanitize Attend and engage in team meetings General:
Support Museum Mission and Values Follow all Staff Expectations and Policies for role and department Present a positive, energetic demeanor Know and talk about museum programs, exhibits, and memberships Work collegially with diverse team members and guests alike Maintain professional behavior acceptable to team members and the general museum culture Other duties as assigned

Estimated Salary:
