Job Description

Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options, optimizing application development,

maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions, account for other developmental activitiesInterpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specificationsCode, debug, test, document and communicate product/component/feature development stagesValidate results with user representatives; integrates and commissions the overall solutionSelect appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving or reconfiguration of existing components or creating own solutionsOptimizes efficiency, cost and qualityInfluence and improve customer satisfactionAdherence to industry best practices and standards such as coding standards, change management processes and secure coding practicesAdherence to project schedule / timelinesAdherence to security requirementsProduction and User Support for various in-house and outsourced applicationsAble to provide analysis of an issue and work together with business and vendors to resolveAssist and coordinate Install, test, support various system upgradesSupport interfaces among various banking systemsInteracts with various vendors for issue resolutionsWorks with various Bank Units to gather requirementsPerform other duties, as assigned, which fall within scope of responsibility.

The Successful Applicant

Knowledge / Technical Skills:

· Programming language knowledge (Python, JS, Sql, react, Angular) & IDE's (VS code etc)

· Working knowledge with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML and other web technologies

· Working knowledge with creation of workflows and building the applications

· Working knowledge of modern authentication mechanisms to interface with 3rd party APIs

· Familiarity with CodeConnect API marketplace or API market places in the financial domain

· Knowledge of Banking Products (Deposits, Loans, Treasury, etc)

· Good to have: Knowledge of Banking Applications (FIS Application Suite) and data flow

· Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Nested formulas) and other Microsoft Products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

· Strong Analytical Skills

· Understanding and previous experience with Project Life Cycle; ability to support from analysis to implementation
