The Senior Service Parts Planner for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for working with the commercial service teams on inventory location and strategy for Distribution Centers and forward stocking locations.

This position is part of the service planning organization located in the United States and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month demand and supply plan for service parts; collaborate with production/purchasing teams on the net requirements.
  • Identify opportunities and coordinate parts movements across the global distribution network for phase-in phase-out item and serve as a central point of contact for collaboration between the supply chain and service teams.
  • Manage service parts inventory and optimize target levels through setting and maintaining planning parameters in the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with Field Support Teams and Analysts/Materials Planners to define customer and channel partners segmentation/prioritization that will translate to inventory levels and locations.
  • Identify inventory optimization opportunities through data, install base analysis, failure rates, and usage.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience with inventory and parts planning analytics including Excel, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience with spare parts planning and execution, as well as software such as Baxter Planning (Prophet)
  • 3+ years of experience working in ERP/MRP/DRP
  • Ability to collaborate and drive the optimization of parts inventory levels in a global business environment.
  • Travel to Beckman Coulter distribution facilities up to 30% as needed

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Supply chain, Logistics, or Inventory Management especially in the service parts area.
  • Operating in a fast paced, globally collaborative, and distributed environment.

The salary range for this role is $75K - $85K annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
