We're excited to be moving to our vibrant new home on New Oxford Street in central London from the end of June 2024. At GSK HQ, we're building an energising space where we can connect, collaborate and get ahead of disease together. Designed especially for us, it'll be one of the healthiest workplaces in the world, with best-in-class tech and bright, light spaces to help us thrive.

At GSK, we unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together. We prioritise research into vaccines and medicines across our four core therapeutic areas of infectious diseases, HIV, respiratory/immunology, and oncology. We also remain open to other opportunities where the science aligns with our strategic approach.

Our vaccines portfolio is the broadest in the industry, helping protect people from RSV, meningitis, shingles, flu, polio, measles and many more. Two million of our vaccines are administered every day, and 4 in 10 children receive a GSK vaccine each year.

Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit, insatiable curiosity, broad pharma expertise, and a strong commitment to deploying insights to guide business strategy? If so, consider being a key partner in the growth of GSK Vaccines as Global Strategic Insights (GSI) Director, Respiratory Vaccines.

In this role, you will drive strategic insight generation that will define and shape Global Product Strategy for our respiratory vaccines, one which is a critical launch asset addressing the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). • Define, structure, plan, and commission global market research to proactively address key business questions and generate actionable and concise recommendations
  • Leverage technology and innovation to increase efficiency and/or effectiveness in insight generation, while maintaining rigor and quality
  • Develop robust forecast models ensuring seamless integration of market and customer insights into sound forecasts that contribute to investment planning decisions
  • Partner with the Global Competitive Intelligence team to closely monitor the latest external developments, and translate these into concise and impactful recommendations
  • Be a thought-partner for the cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple workstreams, and exert influence within cross-functional matrices
  • Harness the latest research and analytical methodologies to drive a competitive edge for GSK
  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in lead indication, tracking trends, current and evolving competitive landscapes, and generating long-term strategic outlooks
  • Deliver well-integrated, actionable insights and ensure their strategic application to support global strategy, governance, and investment decisions
  • Manage vendor relationships to achieve a mutually rewarding partnership while ensuring excellence in insight generation execution
  • Leverage a wide range of tools and resources to identify opportunities, assess program potential, and provide guidance to optimize development plans
  • Continue to build your ability to influence the planning and activities of cross-functional teams to help create alignment, clarity, and a clear sense of shared responsibility for the brands you work on.
