How you'll make an impact

  • Collaborate closely with Tech Strategy & Transformation lead and VP of Tech Innovation & Strategic Operations to outline a comprehensive strategy for WEX Technology
  • Assist in prioritizing innovation, streamlining the portfolio, and aligning with the broader investment strategy for modernization and productivity enhancement
  • Create all board and executive content across WEX Technology
  • Maintain a consolidated strategic view of WEX's technology modernization and AI strategy
  • Lead technology transformation strategic planning and track outcomes
  • Drive AI strategy development, aligning with WEX's overall goals
  • Define outcome measures to track progress in key tech initiatives
  • Enhance executive governance structure and best practices across all technology business lines
  • Act as a subject matter expert on capitalization processes and tools, collaborating with finance for funding decisions and organizational priorities
  • Serve as a servant leader to Technology and Digital Senior Leadership and Executive Leadership Team

Experience you'll bring

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or a related field (Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution. (MBA Preferred) with 6+ years of experience in Technology or financial services strategy; consulting background is a bonus
  • Equivalent of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in finance, accounting, or related areas preferred
  • Adept at detailed analysis while maintaining a focus on the bigger picture
  • Demonstrate a mindset of creativity, innovation, and a drive to succeed
  • Proven ability to influence executive leadership and stakeholders on tech and business matters
  • Skillful in summarizing complex information into key takeaways for easy understanding
  • Capable multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
