This is a full-time remote position, allowing you the flexibility to engage with colleagues across various locations for in-person collaboration. We actively promote continuous interaction and foster a collaborative environment among our team members to ensure mutual support and a thriving workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership for the electrical engineering discipline within the organization.
- Mentor and cultivate department personnel, promoting career advancement through tailored development strategies.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality work while adhering to the company's QA/QC standards.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on financial planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Oversee, plan, and design specialized systems for a range of projects, including healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and commercial spaces.
- Act as the primary technical authority and facilitate effective communication with clients.
- Support the implementation of Tetra Tech's technical standards within the local office.
- Provide feedback on the application of technical standards and recommend enhancements.
- Identify training opportunities and advocate for staff development to improve skills.
- Review MEP systems designed by external parties, engage with regulatory officials and contractors, and collaborate with architects and other stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary resource for any technical claims in the region.
- 8+ years of experience as an MEP Engineer in infrastructure and/or building systems.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
- Current Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Familiarity with OHSPD (HCAI).
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback to ensure quality control.
- Extensive experience in sustainable design is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in REVIT is essential.
- LEED AP BD+C accreditation is advantageous.
- WELL certification is a plus.
