As a Due West Veterinarian, you will have the privilege of working in a fear-free, technology-driven practice that nurtures your professional growth through a dedicated mentoring program. You will play a vital role in caring for the health of animals and safeguarding public health by diagnosing, treating, and researching medical conditions and diseases affecting pets, livestock, and other animals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgical procedures on animals
- Test for and administer vaccinations against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, including x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners on general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medications
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care when necessary
As a veterinarian, you will leverage a wide range of medical equipment, including surgical tools, x-ray, and ultrasound machines, to treat injuries and illnesses in pets and other animals.
