Position Summary

The Sr. Software Developer will create and maintain applications related to claims submission and management utilizing a Microsoft Development environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using C# .NET, MVC framework, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, etc.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers during the analysis and development phases and collaborate on feature and product direction.
  • Develop SQL queries to be used within application code as well as for operational tasks.
  • Create build scripts for deployment to test and production servers.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is Computer Information Systems or related field of study required.
  • 6-9 years experience in the following: web-based application design, development and launch, web application development using C# .NET or similar architectures, Azure, .NET CORE, Windows services, API development and integration. SQL server.
  • Experience in healthcare data and transactions (i.e. X12, HL7) a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers as well as provide technical leadership during solution design discussions.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.

Special Considerations and Prerequisites

  • MCAD and MCSD certifications a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and foresight
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a group as well as independently when appropriate
  • General office environment; must be able to sit for long periods of time.
