Job Purpose

Support and lead projects within the integrated supply chain for Wood Coatings Industrial Transformation, enabling the workstreams to reach defined standards and objectives. Will optimize supply chain processes, techniques and systems ensuring synergies across regions. Will own logistics solutions and support projects for value-driven integrated supply chain initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and carry components for assigned projects. Will define, plan, and manage tasks to ensure execution and delivery.
  • Analyze logistics processes, integration defects and production requests/issues, identifying obstacles and recommending resolutions.
  • Confer with logistics management teams to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, and minimize cost.
  • Serve as a Supply Chain resource for internal departments. Will advise managers on best practices and processes to ensure cross-business synergies.
  • Support the organization change management activities, updating business processes and internal control systems procedures, roles mapping, and user training. Will define key performance indicators and maintain updated project documentation.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 5 years' supply chain experience in the coatings industry or chemical manufacturing.
  • 3 years' experience using SAP within the following modules: Warehouse Mangement, Demand and Supply Planning, Materials Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, and Purchasing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Excel and Visio. Must be able to design reports and dashboards.
  • Strong project management, analytical and execution skills with the ability to pay attention to detail and deliver quality results following standards and designated timelines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across and within diverse teams.
  • Excellent facilitation and training skills.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%.
