Duties
- Respond on and off site to accidents and other emergencies involving injury and illnesses.
- Inspect operational readiness of fire apparatus, medic units, and various types of equipment.
- Unreel and connect hose, lays hose lines, operates charged lines, places and raises ladders, operates portable and stationary firefighting apparatus, ventilates buildings.
- Employ a variety of established emergency medical techniques, methods, and equipment to stabilize the patient before transporting to a health care facility.
