You will serve as a member of a firefighting crew engaged in the protection of life and property, responding to alarms and combating fire involving structures, equipment, facilities, crashed and burning aircraft, fuel, chemicals, and brush fires.

You will fight fires using turrets and large crash fire rescue firefighting apparatus.

You will serve as a Hazardous Material Technician on the installation Hazardous Materials Response Team and respond to the presence or potential releases of hazardous materials both chemical and biological to stop or control the release.

Train in preparation for hazardous materials and weapons of mass destruction incident response and procedures; and perform hazard and risk assessment to conduct an incident analysis.

You will prepare incident reports and documentation; maintain and decontaminate hazmat equipment and supplies.
You will initiate established medical protocols in providing basic life support and perform noninvasive emergency procedures.
