Job Description:

USC Athletics is looking to hire a Women's Basketball General Manager/Special Assistant to Head Coach to join our staff and student community of 600+ individuals. Reporting directly to the Head Coach, USC is seeking a dynamic thinker and self-starter to play a crucial role in helping our program to remain an industry leader in a changing collegiate athletics landscape. Knowledge of and experience working in higher education preferred. Understanding of the unique culture and needs of college athletes preferred.

This position serves a diverse student and staff population, must demonstrate a commitment to improving outcomes for historically under-served populations, and is expected to contribute to the program's diversity, inclusion, and equity efforts. This is an exempt position with non-traditional work hours and travel expected.

Roles and responsibilities to include: Interfacing directly with the Head Coach and team members in managing calendars (school, basketball, outside activities and appearances). Supporting the program and players by helping to build WBB specific strategies through partnerships, NIL and player activations. Building strategy to leverage player deals, partnerships and key moments through the year. Managing portfolio of NIL deals for players and creating opportunities to align USC and player deals where appropriate. Serving as key contact for players, players families and alumni as it relates to navigating NIL deals in conjunction with USC. Creating and leading strategic planning around player financial management and helping to navigate newly created NCAA policies. Leading initiatives in community and alumni outreach. Serving as liaison to key stakeholders and special guests/celebrities at home and away games. Event coordination and execution for recruiting, team, and donor events. Promotes an environment that fosters inclusive relationships and creates unbiased opportunities for contributions through ideas, words, and actions that uphold principles of the USC Code of Ethics. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (master's degree in a business-related field preferred) and have three years of experience (five years preferred). Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education. Experience working in higher education and/or a sports related field ideal. Driving is considered an essential job duty, and a valid driver's license is required. Salary Range:

The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000.
