About the RoleWe are searching for a Process Engineer to perform the duties described below for our plant in Spartanburg SC USA.
Your Responsibilities- Monitor and Increase production quality and quantity
- Process development, creation of layout for manufacturing processes
- Optimization and improvement of manufacturing processes
- Planning of renovation work
- Inquiry and procurement
- Request and procurement of auxiliary operation and manufacturing aids
- Project management with suppliers when purchasing new systems
- Preparation of calculations for conversions, auxiliary and manufacturing aids
- Capacity planning in cooperation with production
- Planning and implementation of process developments and development of new technologies
- Completion of special projects and FMEAs
- Implementation of process development in cooperation with R&D
- Experience with KUKA robots strongly preferred
- Experience with welding robots strongly preferred
- Experience in automotive manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of tool construction, robots, automation assembly and welding technology
- Experience in FMEA and problem solving techniques
Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience as an engineer in manufacturing; or 3-5 years of experience as an engineer in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
