The purpose of the QC Inspector is to ensure the timely flow of raw materials and packaging components from receiving to operations, by sampling incoming material, and evaluating material quality.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.
These responsibilities include some of the following:

Assist staff, site management and vendors on issues and initiatives relating to raw material and packaging material quality.Comply with sampling and testing procedures for incoming raw materials and packaging components, as directed.Comply with all Safety and GMP procedures and policies.Participate in site Operational Excellence initiatives/programs.Incorporate Lean Sigma principals into ways of working.Perform Self Inspection audits as required.Use of digital photography to illustrate and record visual references and defects.Report information to supervisors, managers, and various GSK departments.Report information to vendors, and other groups.Evaluate the quality of non-conforming materials and finished goods.Why you?Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
High school diploma or GED, with a minimum of 2+ years related experience, or an Associate's Degree with Math, Science, Technology or related area of study.Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Science degree in applicable scientific disciplineManufacturing GMP experienceVarious computer skills, including LIMS, SAP, MS Office.Understanding of site's Quality, Warehousing and Operational ways of working.Working knowledge Consumer Healthcare Quality standards, GMP requirements, policies, and procedures.Experience in implementing Quality Systems in regulated environments.Experience in writing, reviewing, and revising SOPs.Ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent written and oral communication.Problem solving/continuous improvement skills.Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.Ability to work and succeed independently and in a team-based environment.Detail oriented.Haleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program.
