Description

The Senior Copywriter at TSIA plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organization's messaging, branding, and communication efforts. This role involves crafting compelling and effective written content that resonates with target audiences, drives engagement, and supports TSIA's goals. The Senior Copywriter collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality content across various channels, maintaining consistency in tone, style, and messaging.

As a Senior Copywriter at TSIA, you will be a vital contributor to the organization's messaging and communication efforts, helping to elevate its presence within the technology services industry. Your ability to craft compelling narratives, align messaging with TSIA's goals, maintain consistency through the copy style guide, and effectively communicate TSIA's unique value proposition will be crucial to your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create impactful, persuasive, and relevant copy for a wide range of mediums, including but not limited to websites, email, infographics, one-pagers, etc.
  • Translate complex industry concepts and technical information into clear and engaging copy that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and cross-departmental subject matter experts to ensure messaging aligns with branding and overall communication strategies.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
  • Stay current with copy best practices, industry advertising trends, and the competitive landscape to inform content development, iteration, and execution.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Own, update, and implement the copy style guide to ensure uniformity and excellence in all written communication.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of TSIA's target audiences and tailor messaging to address their needs and pain points.
  • Stay agile in messaging and pivot/update content as needed to adapt to evolving market dynamics.
  • Effectively communicate TSIA's universal value proposition to members and nonmembers alike, reinforcing the value of the TSIA brand.
  • Work as a member of the brand team to devise and implement brand voice and messaging that align with the organization's goals, target audience, and overall brand.
  • Collaborate with design teams on brand development initiatives, ensuring messaging consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Lead a monthly content and copy sync with writers across all departments to ensure consistency and uniformity throughout internal and external facing messaging.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of content creation processes.
  • UX/UI writing, collaborating with designers on wireframing, and enhancing user experiences.
  • Manage projects effectively, coordinating tasks, timelines, and resources to meet project goals.
  • Develop and enhance processes for efficient copy approvals, maintaining quality standards and compliance.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in the technology industry or B2B environment.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into accessible content.
  • Proficiency in adapting writing style to different audiences and channels.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with content management systems.
  • Portfolio showcasing a variety of writing samples across different formats and platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, digital best practices, and content optimization.
  • Previous experience collaborating with design teams and subject matter experts.
  • Understanding of content marketing strategies and their role in driving engagement and conversions.
