Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce - Cyber Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: Serves as an Information Technology Specialist (Internet) for the Department of the Army Inspector General Agency (USAIGA), Information Resource (IR) Management Division.



Duties
  • Work involves the technical planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and management of Internet, intranet, and extranet activities, including SharePoint sites, systems/applications development and technical management of Web sites.
  • Provide in-depth and independent technical guidance, advice, and recommendations to the Executive Officer and Chief, Information Resource Management Division concerning all internet related sites.
  • Maintain a general awareness and understanding of information assurance and security concerns/issues as they relate to a secure internet environment.
  • Determine overall technical design and structure of the Inspector General (IG)-specific website environment.
  • Support the installation, configuration, security, operation, and maintenance of all web portal servers, equipment, and software related to the internet infrastructure.
  • Develop, configure and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists and site collections.
  • Monitor functionality, security, and integrity of the IG-specific websites.
  • Monitor IG - specific websites' trends (e.g., site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth).
