I am seeking 3-8 years' experience Business & Finance Legal Secretary in Pittsburgh, PA. This position will work closely with associates, shareholders, and paralegals on the full administrative duties. On-Site

    • Three (3) or more years of experience as a Legal Secretary or related experience- must have
    • Experience with iManage document management system, filing court documents, electronically preferred & ECF for federal court filings a plus.
    • Experience using PACER to search dockets, party information, and download pleadings
    • Solid writing and editing skills with a focus on developing thoughtful and persuasive messaging
    • Experience with state filings and familiarity with various county and prothonotary websites.
    • Ability to work in and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
    • Strong organizational, time management, and project management mindset
    • Support attorneys and paralegals on administrative items including receiving and opening mail. Distributing the mail to the appropriate attorneys and paralegals.
    • Transcription of dictation for some attorneys for correspondence including letters to clients, engagement letters, and memos to clients and client files.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word, and other software
    • Maintain attorney's calendars by setting appointments, coordinating schedules, and setting up meetings, pleadings, electronic filing.
    • Answer phones and communicating with courts and prothonotaries.
    • Draft and review legal correspondence. Proofread, correct grammar, spelling, punctuation,and formatting.
    • Experience with PDFdoc
    • Paralegal certificate or degree- is a plus
    • Active Notary license -is a plus
