Banner University Medical Group is seeking an Academic Family Medicine Hospitalist. Join the growing academic team with the Department of Family & Community Medicine in 'weather-perfect' Tucson, AZ.

This is an excellent academic opportunity for a BC|BE Family Medicine physician to join a dynamic faculty team that is supporting the Family Community Medicine Department of Banner University Medicine. Prior experience caring for complex, hospitalized patients is required. Physician hired will have a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona commensurate with the candidates credentials.

Position Highlights:

Blended position: Primary role (minimum 0.5 FTE) will be Hospital MedicineRemainder of FTE can also be Hospital Medicine or can be Low-risk OB and/or Outpatient Clinic, dependent on experience and interestFull-Time and Part-time options availableFull-time Work Schedule: 180, 12-hour shiftsMajority of work spent on resident teaching teams, collaborating with existing facultyParticipation in lectures and academic rounds requiredExtra pay available for additional shiftsCompetitive base with quality incentivesTraining in Family Medicine is required
