SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Performs and completes diagnostic procedures and follows guidelines set by the Radiologic Association.

This position prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics. Provides radiation safety for operators and patients. Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.
