Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital. This role involves providing essential support during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and assisting the surgical team effectively.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS (AHA) Certification
  • ACLS Certification - if applicable
  • PALS Certification - if applicable
  • NRP Certification - if applicable
  • CHEMO Certification - required for Oncology roles
  • TNCC Certification - preferred for Emergency Room positions
  • EFM Certification - required for Labor & Delivery
  • Tech Certification Verification - National preferred for OR Tech / Surgical Tech
  • State License Verification - required
  • NURSYS Verification - required
Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare the surgical room and gather necessary supplies for procedures.
  • Deliver instruments to the surgeon and assist the surgical team during operations.
  • Function as a second assistant to the surgeon when needed.
  • Ensure proper decontamination of the surgical room, instruments, and supplies post-operation.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a surgical technologist.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or equivalent military training.
  • Extensive experience in orthopedic and robotic surgeries is preferred.
Work Schedule
  • 3x12 hour shifts (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday); schedule may vary.
  • On-call responsibilities: 2-4 weeknights per month and every 7th weekend.
Additional Information
  • Completion of I-9 and E-Verify Attestation Form is mandatory.
  • Must carry a copy of driver's license at all times.
  • This position does not have an expiration date for the client.
  • The 'date declared' on the form should reflect the candidate's residency start date in the state.
