Job Summary/Basic Function:


The Dayton Regional STEM School seeks a highly motivated and effective high school social studies teacher to join an existing school faculty and staff for the school year.

The curriculum will include collaboratively designed project-based learning units that connect to multiple disciplines and/or real-life issues.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree by August 1, 2024
High School teaching license by August 1, 2024
Outstanding communication and collaborative skills
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to integrate technology into the classroom
Experience working with high school students
Credentialed to teach college level courses
Master's degree or master's level coursework completed
Project Based learning experience
Experience with collaboration and cross curricular integration

Essential Functions and percent of time:
~Plan and deliver course instruction for high school students – 75%
~Collaborate with other teachers to develop and refine content & materials for courses – 20%
~Participate in various meetings (including IEP's, conferences, etc.) and professional development opportunities – 5%
