Key job responsibilities

Amazon Music's Partner Payments and Reporting team is seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Technical Program Manager to drive large, complex, and multi-functional music licensing programs.

This role presents a remarkable opportunity for high visibility and regular interactions with the leadership team of Amazon Music.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager in this team, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects end-to-end across multiple technology, business and operational teams.

These projects span initiatives that allow for continued innovation, agility to anticipate music licensing demands, and build great technology platforms at scale to support Amazon Music's growth.

You will play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions and translating them into actionable implementation plans that are measurable and aligned with the overall program objectives.

About the team

Come join a team that's building next generation business and financial automation tools to support licensing and payment business obligations, leveraging the best in full-stack AWS technologies.

We build critical systems to compute royalties, disburse payments and provide analytical reporting to digital content partners, worldwide.


Our team develops systems that simplify and automate complex royalty payment and accounting rules, allowing us to eliminate financial risk and focus on delighting our customers.

We strive to hold a high bar in paying our content partners accurately, completely and on-time.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience building and evaluating systemlevel technical design
  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multimillion dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
