Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide strong guidance to all sample management, logistics and training functions to all employees. This role is integral to the company's Global Operations team, ensuring the execution of operational strategies are in line with the quality standards and delivering growth and margin improvements.
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree along with proven management experience.Prior experience leading under a stringent quality management system.Strong business acumen and analytical skills.Excellent leadership skills and ability to work across the organization.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in customer service-oriented positions.Ability to think creatively and work independently.Proven ability to work effectively with teams.Physical ability to reach, lift, bend, stand or sit for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. The Director of Biorepository Operation's responsibilities will be:Guide the multidisciplinary teams and manage productivity across multiple shifts.Direct a strong quality culture by ensuring safety policies and procedures are prioritized.Ensure customer expectations for quality and timeliness of registrations, retrievals, discards, and sample preservation are met.Stay connected with the sample management industry to understand best practices.Promote continuous process improvement by establishing leading indicators and standards for safety, quality, delivery, client satisfaction, and cost.Lead people-centric initiatives that drive quality, client satisfaction, and employee satisfaction.Contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning process to ensure resources are in place to execute on client demands.Monitor obligations in client master agreements and contracts for Indianapolis to ensure that Sample Management and Processing meet these contractual obligations.Support QA function in preparing for, hosting, and providing follow up for client and regulatory audits.Develop appropriate best practices resulting in standardized and streamlined processes, regulatory compliance, and efficient use of resources.
