A Day In The Life Of A Nurse With QCC:
  • Providing care for patients undergoing detox from alcohol and other substances
  • Administering medications and treatments per physician or Mental Health recommendations
  • Seeing patients for medical complaints, both acute and chronic
  • Monitoring patients conditions, vital signs and report any changes to overseeing Physician and management
  • Performing 14-day physicals and other routine checkup to maintain the overall health of the patient
  • Managing their chronic medical conditions by monitoring labs and medication efficiency
  • Working with Dentist to ensure that our patients oral care is up to par consistently
  • Responding to medical emergencies as they appear
  • Educating Patients on a variety of conditions they may be experiencing

the way to go Quality Correctional Care is looking for a Licensed Nurse to join our team and join the fight to bring awareness to the need for Mental Health and quality healthcare for correction-involved individuals. This person is will work alongside our Medical Directors, provide treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions and deliver exceptional care to our patients in the center. He/she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and abide the core values, laws and regulations of the County and QCC

LPN/RN Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Seeing patients for medical complaints, both acute and chronic
  • Performing 14-day physicals on all patients
  • Managing their chronic medical conditions by monitoring labs and medication efficiency
