How you'll make an impact:

You will play a pivotal role working closely with the Head of Technology & Strategic Partnerships and other Cin7 team members – to build and establish a thriving and industry leading ISV technology partner ecosystem. This includes engagement with existing partners as well as identifying and recruiting new curated partners in close partnership with the product and sales teams.

To deliver on our vision of Ecosystem Led Growth (ELG), you will engage with partners across various technology categories ex. eCommerce platforms/marketplaces, accounting platforms, shipping and fulfillment, EDI/3PL, payments, OMS, WMS, POS, customer engagement & digital marketing, etc. You will focus on expanding partner engagement, delivering new partnership agreements, and managing the go-to-market functions to deliver mutual growth.

You will be responsible for establishing leadership level alignment with the partners across strategic initiatives, product roadmap, differentiated offerings in Cin7's marketplace, and go-to-market (GTM) approach to drive joint success.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and growing a strong ISV technology partner ecosystem and ability to engage at the executive level across Cin7 and partner organizations.

  • Drive strategic alignment with some of our top tier and preferred ISV partners. Ex. Accounting platforms (Intuit, Xero), Tax (Avalara), eCommerce platforms, marquee EDI/3PL vendors, and more.
  • Strong product roadmap alignment and differentiated integration in the market.
  • Establish and maintain a joint GTM plan and execute against agreed upon metrics for market success in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Establish and deepen relationships with SLT at both Cin7 and partners; Drive an ongoing rhythm (M/QBR) to align on product futures, GTM, and sales engagement.
  • Enable revenue growth through co-marketing and/or GTM commercial models (co-sell, re-sell, OEM, etc.) in collaboration with product, marketing, sales and finance.
  • Grow our open ecosystem of ISV technology partners to deliver joint value across product sellers' end-to-end commerce and customer engagement value chain.
  • Identify, prioritize, define joint value/use cases, and deliver partner-built integrations in collaboration with product management.
  • Plan and land scalable go-to-market activities with the partners in collaboration with marketing – to drive customer adoption of integrations.
  • Enable revenue growth through referral/rev-share agreements and land lead referral/management processes with all applicable partners.
  • Act as primary relationship manager for all assigned partners. Ensure strong product and sales/marketing alignment with respective counterparts in the partner organization.
  • Own and ensure end-to-end partner management acting as quarterback and collaborating across functions at Cin7 and partners. This includes: 1) Solution integration use-case definition and realization; 2-way dev/test and demo account access, marketplace listing and promotion; 2) Cross-aisle field enablement, co-marketing (ex. launch/announce of new integrations, PR, POC client adoption, case studies, keynotes/sessions at partner's events & conferences, demand-gen webinars, thought leadership activities, etc.); and 3) Joint GTM (account mapping, lead referrals, opportunity management with Cin7 partner sales team), and partner operations (lead-to-deal closure, partner sourced/influenced tracking and attribution, invoicing/payments).
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Cin7's product, marketing, sales (direct and partner), customer success, support, finance and operations to mature & activate technology partnerships, and drive growth.
  • Serve as an active contributor of innovative and practical ideas to define and/or improve partner management processes, workflows and tools for efficient operations.

  • At least 10+ years of strong working exp. across partnerships, business development focused on B2B SaaS, and product management. Required 5-7 years of ISV technology partnerships/alliances experience.
  • Knowledge of APIs, desire/ability to drive integration discussions between partners and Cin7 product, and willingness/ability to contribute towards partnership joint value documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform market research and partnership due diligence (product & business standpoint); proven skills to define and deliver on technology partnership success metrics.
  • Familiarity and experience with partnerships centric commercial and GTM models (ex. co-sell, re-sell, OEM); proven business case and financial modeling abilities; sound negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal & written), presentation and influencing skills to drive win-win discussions with partners/Cin7 executives and stakeholders, and drive co-marketing and GTM programs.
  • Sound understanding of direct and indirect sales processes, and working exposure to partner & customer management workflows/tools including CRM, PRM.
  • Deep knowledge of SaaS technology and related business/pricing models. Highly preferred experience in one/more of the following domains – eCommerce, supply chain, inventory/order management, accounting software, shipping & fulfillment, B2C or B2B2C customer engagement (preferably in eCommerce / supply chain context).
  • Persuasive leadership experience across functions, flexibility to work across multiple global time zones and cultures, openness to occasional travel.
  • BA/BS degree required, MBA or Master's degree preferred.
